Zamarks provides financial modeling services in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Europe: models, FP&A, budgeting and forecasting, unit economics and fundraising support for founders and operators. Because the same team implements ERP and runs growth marketing, the numbers can start from your own data and give you a clear, defensible view of where the business is heading.

What do our financial modeling services in Saudi Arabia cover?
Our financial modeling services in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Europe cover five areas: financial modeling and FP&A, fundraising and reporting, unit economics and pricing, budgeting and forecasting, and strategy and advisory. The work is built for founders and operators who need a clear, defensible view of where the business is heading.
Financial modeling and FP&A
Driver-based models that link the three financial statements, and the planning and analysis that keep them current.
Fundraising and reporting
The numbers investors read before a round, and the reporting they expect after it closes.
Unit economics and pricing
Acquisition cost, lifetime value, contribution margin and payback, with pricing tested against them.
Budgeting and forecasting
An annual budget, and a forecast that rolls forward as actuals arrive, cash included.
Strategy and advisory
The numbers behind a strategic decision, such as entering a new market, launching a product or taking on a bank facility.
The five areas feed each other. Unit economics feed the model, the model sets the budget, and the budget is what FP&A tracks.
What makes a financial model investors and lenders can read?
A good financial model links the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement to the few drivers that move your business, such as volumes, prices and costs. Change a driver and every statement updates with it, so a scenario is a change of inputs rather than a rebuild.
When you need one:
- A fundraising round, where investors test your assumptions line by line.
- A bank facility, where the lender reads cash flow and your ability to repay.
- A new market or product, where the model shows what it costs to get there and when it pays back.
- An annual budget, where the model becomes the plan the year is measured against.
What a model a reader can trust looks like:
- Every assumption in one place, labeled and explained.
- Inputs, calculations and outputs kept apart.
- A balance sheet that balances, and cash shown month by month.
- A base case, a downside and an upside, each a switch away.
If you are in the UAE and call it financial modelling, this is the same service, built to the same standard.
How do FP&A, budgeting and forecasting work together?
FP&A, short for financial planning and analysis, turns the model into a monthly habit: a budget, a forecast that rolls forward, and actuals compared with the plan. You see problems while there is still time to act.
A typical FP&A month runs in four steps:
Close
Close the month and load the actuals.
Compare
Compare actuals with the budget and explain the variances.
Reforecast
Roll the forecast forward, cash included.
Report
Report to management or the board, with the decisions the numbers call for.
The budget sets the plan for the year. The rolling forecast says where the year is actually heading, so you can act on the gap between them.
What does fundraising support include?
Fundraising support covers the model investors read, the story its numbers tell, and the reporting they expect once the money is in. Fundraising and reporting is part of our financial strategy work, before a round and after it closes.
What investors look for in the numbers:
- Assumptions they can trace from the pitch to the model.
- Use of funds tied to milestones, and the runway the round buys.
- Unit economics that show each customer makes money, or when it will.
- Scenarios that show what happens if growth comes slower than planned.
The model should fit the market you raise in. In Saudi Arabia, Saudi Venture Capital Company (SVC), established in 2018, is a subsidiary of the SME Bank, part of the National Development Fund, and aims to stimulate and sustain financing for startups and SMEs from pre-seed to pre-IPO through fund and direct investments. In Dubai, DIFC describes its Innovation Licence as being for fintech, AI and Web 3.0 startups.
Our part is the numbers. We build the models and plans, and the investment decision stays with you and your investors.

How do unit economics set pricing and the marketing budget?
Unit economics answer one question: does each customer make money? We work out acquisition cost, lifetime value, contribution margin and payback, then test pricing against them.
Customer acquisition cost (CAC)
What it costs to win one customer, by channel.
Lifetime value (LTV)
The margin a customer brings over the whole relationship.
Contribution margin
What each sale leaves after the costs that grow with it.
Payback period
How long a customer takes to repay what it cost to win them.
Pricing is tested against the same numbers: what a price change does to margin, to payback and to the volume the plan needs.
The same numbers set the marketing budget: spend more on a channel only while its payback holds. Our growth marketing team optimizes against revenue and qualified demand, so finance and marketing read the same figures.
Which tax rules change your numbers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia?
Tax belongs in the model from day one. UAE Corporate Tax is 0% on taxable income up to AED 375,000 and 9% on the portion above it, and in Saudi Arabia the model should account for VAT and zakat.
- UAE Corporate Tax: 0% on the portion of taxable income up to AED 375,000, and 9% on the portion above AED 375,000.
- UAE Small Business Relief: resident businesses can claim it while revenue is below AED 3 million in the tax period and in every earlier one, subject to the other conditions in the legislation.
- Ministerial Decision No. 131 of 2026 extends Small Business Relief to tax periods ending on or before 31 December 2029. The AED 3 million threshold is unchanged.
- Once revenue passes AED 3 million in any tax period, the relief is no longer available. A growth plan that crosses that line should show the tax period in which the relief stops.
- Saudi Arabia: VAT and zakat belong in the model from its first version.
E-invoicing is a separate obligation in both countries, covered on our ERP page: ZATCA Phase 2 and UAE e-invoicing.
Tax rules change. Confirm the rules for your own entity with the FTA, ZATCA or your tax advisor before you rely on them.

Who are our financial modeling services for?
Founders and operators in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Europe who need numbers they can defend. That covers financial modeling services for startups preparing a round, and for established companies planning a budget, a bank facility or a new market.
The usual signs:
- A round, a facility or a board meeting is close, and the model is not ready.
- The budget lives in a spreadsheet nobody trusts.
- Revenue is growing, but nobody can say whether each customer makes money.
- Actuals reach the plan too late to act on.
We work across fintech, e-commerce, logistics, SaaS, hospitality, healthcare, real estate and retail.
How does a financial modeling engagement run?
In four steps, each owned by senior people: discover, plan, execute and scale. A model build fits a Project Package, and ongoing FP&A fits a retainer.
Discover
A focused consultation on your business, your numbers and the decision the model must support.
Plan
A scoped roadmap: the model's scope, its drivers and the questions it must answer, with milestones, owners and success metrics.
Execute
Senior-led delivery in tight loops: we build the model, review it with you and stress-test the assumptions.
Scale
Run the model against actuals and refine it as the business changes.
The same four steps run every Zamarks engagement. See how they work, or compare Project Packages and retainers.
How much does a financial model cost, and how long does it take?
Both depend on scope, and we say so up front. We don't publish fixed prices or standard build times: a Project Package fixes the scope and timeline with a predictable investment, and Individual Experts work at transparent hourly rates.
What moves the scope:
- How many entities, currencies and business lines the model covers.
- How the business earns: subscriptions, contracts, a marketplace or units sold.
- How much financial history exists, and how clean it is.
- How many scenarios the decision needs.
- Whether ongoing FP&A follows the build.

Why build finance on your ERP and growth data?
Because a model is only as good as its inputs. Zamarks also implements ERP and runs growth marketing, so your model can start from your own system and acquisition data rather than estimates, and every technology decision is tied to its cost and return.
Zamarks is a consultancy that brings software and ERP engineering, growth marketing and financial strategy under one senior team.
- Finance can shape the chart of accounts and the reporting before an ERP implementation is built, so the system reports what the model needs.
- Acquisition cost by channel can come from growth marketing, so unit economics use real spend, not estimates.
- One team answers for the system, the campaigns and the numbers.

Financial modeling FAQ
A three-statement model links the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement to the drivers of your business, such as volumes, prices and costs. Scenarios then show what happens when those drivers change.
We don't publish fixed prices. A model build fits a Project Package, with a fixed scope and timeline and a predictable investment, scoped after a free 30-minute call.
Yes. Fundraising and reporting is part of our financial strategy work, from the model investors read before the round to the reporting they expect after it.
UAE Corporate Tax is 0% on taxable income up to AED 375,000 and 9% on the portion above it, so the model applies both bands. If you claim Small Business Relief, it should also show the tax period in which revenue passes AED 3 million and the relief stops.
Yes, for businesses that qualify. Ministerial Decision No. 131 of 2026 extends it to tax periods ending on or before 31 December 2029, for resident businesses with revenue below AED 3 million in the tax period and in every earlier one.
Whenever the plan changes, and every month if you run FP&A against it. A model that trails the business stops being trusted.
Yes. Founders preparing a round get the model, the unit economics and the reporting investors read, and established companies get the same work for budgets, bank facilities and new markets.
That is the aim. Because Zamarks also delivers ERP implementation, the ERP's reporting and the model can be planned together, so actuals come from your system rather than estimates.
